MoMeD Summer school 2027
MoMeD Summer school is an annual event which brings MoMeD PhD students and supervisors from different research environments and centers together.
The two-day event offers an opportunity to network, to share knowledge, to hear about research of your peers and to attend workshops of your choice on scientific or transferable skills topics.
10-11 June 2027, including overnight stay in shared 2-bed rooms.
You will be able to write the name of your preferred roommate upon registration and we will do our best to accommodate your wishes.
Registration for students and supervisors will open in February 2027.
The MoMeD Summer School 2026 will feature:
- Scientific presentations from 3rd year PhD students
- Poster sessions in smaller groups to practice the skill of poster presentation
- Open poster sessions to network and discuss science with all MoMeD students and attending supervisors
- Workshop of choice
- Social activities and networking with your colleagues
All meals are provided. You will be able to indicate special dietary requests upon registration.
Summer school is a course which gives ECTS, so remember to sign up at Graduate school course catalogue AND on this webpage to submit your abstract.
Sign up deadline for both webpages 15 April.
Your registration will be complete ONLY when you have registered at both places.

Student can choose between 3 different workshops.
You will find a description for each workshop here later on.
There will be bus transportation to and from Pharmakon to BRIC (Ole Maaløes vej 5). You can indicate upon registration for Summer school if you need a bus.
Pharmakon is situated in the southern outskirts of Hillerød, approximately 1 km from train and bus terminal. There are S-trains to and from Copenhagen every 10 minutes during working hours; you can use this link to find the timetable "Rejseplanen".
Travel time to Hillerød from Nørreport is about 45 minutes. From Hillerød station you can walk or go by bus 305E. Map and travel instructions by car: How to find your way.
Frequently asked questions
Yes, it is mandatory to attend when you are enrolled in MoMeD.
We expect you to attend the whole 2 days of summer school. As it is also a PhD course, you will not pass if you are absent more than 20% of the course time.
If you cannot print your poster at your center/institute, you can contact KU service CampusPrint: https://campusprint.ku.dk/postere-videnskabelige-og-andre/ . It is best to have vertical format, size A0 or A1. MoMeD does not provide funding for poster printing.
If you work at BRIC, you will receive an email about the procedure of poster printing. You can also find information on poster printing at BRIC intranet.
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate everyone in single rooms due to budget limitations. If you do not have a roommate and don't know anyone to share a room with, rest assured that we do our best to match you with a student in the same year and department as you.
Yes, in the registration form you can write the name of the person you would like to stay with. If we do not contact you, it means that we matched you with your roommate.
If you are a 3rd year student and have been selected to give a talk, you should prepare your presentation and do not need to bring a poster. Everyone else prepares a poster. Everyone should submit abstract upon registration.
