About MoMeD

The aim of MoMeD is to advance our understanding of human disease by fostering research and training at the interface between basic and clinical science. Through a cross-institutional network of researchers, clinicians, and PhD students, MoMeD promotes collaboration across disciplines and research environments, creating opportunities for knowledge to move between laboratory discoveries and clinical challenges. By strengthening the dialogue between bench and bedside, MoMeD seeks to support research that contributes to improved diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of disease.

MoMeD offers a range of scientific courses and transferable skills workshops designed to support both research excellence and professional development. The programme combines training in the molecular mechanisms of disease and translational research with opportunities to develop skills in communication, project management, collaboration, and career planning.
