MoMeD Alumni Talks

The steering committee invites all MoMed PhD students to a new event format, the Alumni Talks.

In these events, former MoMed students share how they moved from their PhD projects into their current careers, followed by a relaxed free dinner where you can ask questions and network.

Invitation

On 23 November, we welcome Carsten Beese. Carsten defended his PhD in 2021 in Lisa Frankel’s lab, where he developed high‑content image‑based screens to uncover new mechanisms of autophagy modulation.

Today, Carsten is a Research Associate at Evotec (Hamburg, Germany), designing and implementing Python‑based data analysis strategies for large‑scale biological imaging projects in diverse disease areas such as neurodegeneration and oncology.

Please sign up here so we know how many people will attend.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Best regards,
PhD students from MoMeD steering committee
