Summer School

Aim of the MoMeD Summer School is to encourage networking between PhD students, supervisors, the industry and other laboratories.

The MoMeD Summer School is a 2 day course for all students and supervisors of MoMeD. The Summer School takes place at a conference centre near Copenhagen each year in May or June. The programme is a mixture of scientific project presentations from MoMeD students and workshops on career opportunities, presentation and transferable skills. Besides this, networking is an important part of the programme.

Each year, the Summer school is planned by a group of students, a PI and the MoMeD coordinators. Reach out to us at momed@bric.ku.dk if you would like to help us organize the Summer school for your fellow students!

Participation in the Summer School is mandatory for all MoMeD students. 3rd year students will present their work as oral presentations, whereas the rest of the MoMeD students will present their work on posters. Summer school features two poster sessions: in groups, where feedback on posters will be given by a MoMeD supervisor, and open poster session.

Aim of the presentations is to encourage dialogue and sharing of knowledge and to train students in presenting their project. 1st year students can present the draft planning of their projects.
